3 Player of the Tournament awards for RCB
All three of RCB's Player of the Tournament awards also came with an Orange or Purple Cap in the same season. None of RCB's three award seasons ended with the trophy, though two of them reached the final. No RCB player has been named Player of the Tournament in the five seasons since 2021.

Virat Kohli's 973 runs in 2016 are still the highest any batter has managed in a single IPL season. The trophy has never coincided with a cap: RCB's titles in 2025 and 2026 all came without a cap. Chris Gayle's Orange Cap in 2012 is the only one of the five that came in a season RCB missed the playoffs.

RCB's highest individual innings is Chris Gayle's 175* off 66 balls, against PWI in 2013, 42 runs clear of anything else on the list — the highest score in IPL history. The five highest all came between 2012 and 2016, five of RCB's 19 seasons. AB de Villiers's 129* and Virat Kohli's 109 came in the same match, against GL in 2016, two of the ten at once. Four ten-wicket wins sit at the top of RCB's record book, twice against RR, and once each against Delhi and Punjab. The Punjab chase ended with 71 balls left, 89 chased down in Indore, and Player of the Match honours went to Umesh Yadav, who finished with figures of 3/23. Only 17 ten-wicket wins have been managed in IPL history, and four of them are RCB's. Jacques Kallis has won the same award in two of RCB's five biggest wins.
