3 Player of the Tournament awards for RCB
All three of RCB's Player of the Tournament awards also came with an Orange or Purple Cap in the same season. None of RCB's three award seasons ended with the trophy, though two of them reached the final. No RCB player has been named Player of the Tournament in the four seasons since 2021.

Virat Kohli's 973 runs in 2016 are still the highest any batter has managed in a single IPL season. RCB's only title, in 2025, came without either cap. Chris Gayle's Orange Cap in 2012, won as Royal Challengers Bangalore, is the only one of the five that came in a season RCB missed the playoffs.

RCB's highest individual innings is Chris Gayle's 175* off 66 balls, against PWI in 2013, 42 runs clear of anything else on the list — the highest score in IPL history. The top five span just 2012–2016, five of RCB's 18 seasons. Two of the ten have come in a single match: AB de Villiers's 129* and Virat Kohli's 109 against GL in 2016. RCB's best innings figures are Anil Kumble's 5/5 in 3.1 overs, against RR in 2009, 13 runs cheaper than any other five-wicket haul on the list. RR were dismissed for 58, the second-lowest total any side has been bowled out for. In the 2009 final, which RCB lost, Kumble took 4/16, and Kumble claimed three of the ten, two of them in 2009.

RCB's biggest win by wickets is a ten-wicket win, and they have managed it four times — twice against RR, and once each against Delhi and Punjab. The Punjab chase came in Indore, 71 balls left as they chased down 89, with Umesh Yadav named Player of the Match for figures of 3/23. Four of the 17 ten-wicket wins in IPL history are RCB's. Jacques Kallis has won the same award in two of RCB's five biggest wins, with 44* off 34 balls and figures of 2/20 in the bigger of the two.
