Every Chennai Super Kings record in one place — the all-time marks, the Orange and Purple Caps, the top performers, and the biggest wins. 145 Player of the Match awards have gone to CSK players.

CSK record highs and lows from 2008 to 2025

Eight all-time records — the club's biggest win and heaviest defeat, its highest total and highest chase, the lowest it has defended and its lowest total, and the highest and lowest it has conceded.

Low-score records count only innings that ended naturally — bowled out, however few the overs, or the full 20 batted. An innings cut short by rain, or ended by reaching the target, is not a low score.

Season Honours

CSK Player of the Tournament

No Player of the Tournament for CSK

Chennai Super Kings have never produced a Player of the Tournament: in 16 seasons no player of theirs has taken the league's individual season award. The charts have been kinder: seven Orange or Purple Caps have gone to CSK players. All five titles have arrived without the season award.

Season Honours

3 Orange Caps & 4 Purple Caps for CSK (Dwayne Bravo ×2)

Chennai Super Kings' honours cluster around the club's best campaigns: five of the seven came in seasons that reached the final, and not one in a season that missed the playoffs. Dwayne Bravo's 32 wickets in 2013 are still the joint-highest any bowler has managed in a single IPL season. In 2013 the club held both at once, Michael Hussey taking the Orange Cap and Dwayne Bravo the Purple — the only time CSK have held both. Four of CSK's five titles produced neither cap. No CSK player has led either chart in the four seasons since 2021.
